Regular Events and College CU Meetings
These are a brilliant opportunity for the CU to engage with commonly raised issues and questions about Christianity. Come along with your friends from 1.10-1.50pm in St Andrew the Great church for a talk with a chance to ask questions afterwards and a free lunch.
If you have missed any talks and would like to listen to them online, they are on the CICCU website.
We meet on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9pm, M4 Whewell's Court, to look at the Bible, pray, discuss relevant topics, plan college events and generally have fun, oh and of course, drink tea.
From 8-8.30 on Friday mornings, M4 Whewell's Court, we get together to pray for our college. The prayer meeting is followed by breakfast together in hall. We are all done in time for 9am lectures.
There is also a central prayer meeting every Monday morning at St. Andrew's Street Baptist Church. It runs from 8.00-8.45am, starting with breakfast followed by prayer from 8.10am.
These are held in Eden Baptist Church from 7:30 to 8:45pm on Saturdays, where students from all of CICCU meet together to sing and hear a talk from the Bible. Meet outside Great Gate at 7:15pm to walk over to the meeting together.
If you have missed any talks you would like to hear, recordings can be found on the CICCU website.
This is a free cafe run by CICCU in the Henry Martyn Hall on Fridays from 5-7pm. Open to anyone of any nationality and religious background, this is a great opportunity for internationals to practice their English and meet home students and other internationals. At around 6pm, there is an optional Bible study and discussion. See www.compasscafe.webs.com for more information.
